Derek positions himself to accept the onslaught of long, strong limbs
clinging to him, and he holds onto Barry just as fiercely for a long
moment. The tension is broken by Barry's words, and Derek lets out a shaky
laugh before sniffling once and reaching up to cup the base of Barry's
skull, thumbing at the short hair at his nape.
"Huge dicks," Derek replies, biting his lip for a moment. The only thing
truly calling him back to Beacon Hills is his little sister, the one he
hasn't seen since she was eleven years old. Still, he thinks that he would
choose Central City. "If you knew how much of a hellhole Beacon Hills could
be, you'd know just how much that means to me."
He smiles, and then leans in to kiss Barry softly before speaking again.
"Nah, Central City would be better. You have your family, and your adoring
fans. A coffee even," Derek teases, still dragging his fingertips
through Barry's hair. "How could I resist going where I could get my very
own Flash action figure to play with?"
