"He was really good," David confirms, because now that he remembers it, he can also say that with certainty. There is literally nothing in the world anyone could do to get him to do something like that, no matter what his mother has gotten him to do over the years, because these days he actually has the slightest bit of self respect. Karaoke doesn't count, of course. But even if he'll never put himself in that position, Patrick really was very good.
