"Hey," Derek says sternly, grabbing the machine gun out of Dean's hand. He doesn't like the way Dean's handled this, or the tone he's taking with Stiles. "He's right. There was no reason to do that. Someone's going to come running if you just start firing a machine gun into the air, no matter what fucking decade we're in. And all those bullets have to come down somewhere, in a crowded city. You realize that, don't you?"

A group of uniformed officers come tearing around the corner then, and Derek turns to roll his eyes at Dean and grab Stiles' arm, dragging him down the alley as they break into a run. Evading police, and they've been here for less than an hour. Wonderful.
