Derek nods and reaches up to rub at the stubble on his chin. Full moons are always hard, but they don't have to be nearly unbareable.

"You could always come out here with me," Derek offers, doing his best to sound casual. "No one really ventures out too deep in the woods and I usually just shift and run off the energy for a few hours. It's better than keeping it all locked inside."
