Just because Allison wasn't here, didn't mean Scott couldn't use thoughts of her, memories of her as his anchor. It didn't work as well as having her around had, but it was the best he had, here, so he made it work.

Scott nodded, thinking to himself how weird it was, how close Stiles and Derek were here. So much closer than they'd been back home. It made sense considering the circumstances, but it was still something he was getting his mind wrapped around. He was glad they'd had each other, though. "Will do. Thanks again." It would be nice to not have to go through that alone.
