As Luke heads toward the mall, he has to wonder if this is a teenager thing. If they're all just possessed of such an energy where they want to do everything at once. Clary and Simon had certainly had their fair share of lazy days, but he remembers well just how actively pushy they could be when they really wanted to do something. And that one thing was usually followed by three or four other things they absolutely had to do.

I have no idea what stores you might want to try, though," he admits. His own wardrobe consists of what's practically a uniform: jeans, henleys, flannel and work boots. It's comfortable and it makes him feel comfortable, too. "I haven't the slightest idea what's popular."
