"I've done my best," Derek admits, looking around the bar. He's made small, gradual changes to try and make the place a little more welcoming without changing the heart of it.

"You've come a long way too," Derek says, looking up at Dean as he gathers some more pie onto his fork. "Come in for a beer sometime, on the house."
