Noting the flush on Bitty's cheeks, Kili chooses not to dwell on what had happened on Ravenhill, for it can only ever lead to a sullen sort of feeling that he always despises. It's been nearly eleven months since Mahal had given him second life, and Kili thinks he's done considerably admirable things with it so far.
"But never mind that, I think being a warrior here equates more to being a good friend than anything else, and I try to be just that. Which isn't to say that I won't still knock a Man down in a pub for being disrespectful, I most certainly will, as Derek well knows."
