"Damnit, Jim," Derek quotes gruffly, smiling a little before finishing
off the last of his bread. The moment goes a little bittersweet, and Derek
assumes maybe they're both thinking about the families that they no longer
have. They have each other and to Derek, Barry feels like family. But
still, there's no replacing what they've lost.
"Uhura, huh? Should I be jealous?" Derek teases, bumping his shoulder
against Barry's softly. "Bones is here too. Reboot Bones, anyway. This
place is so bizarre. I'm friends with dwarves from Lord of the
Rings."
